Job Overview
Mechanical Technician/Electrical Controls – 2nd Shift, Omaha, NE, Full Time, Maintenance – General.
Hours Shift hours: 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM, Sunday – Wednesday.

Essential Functions
Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems and technical publications.
Report and take necessary actions to prevent food safety and quality problems.
Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production lines and associated systems.
Qualifications and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
Experience with food processing and packaging equipment preferred.
Knowledge of production machinery repair, troubleshooting, pneumatic/hydraulic, and electrical/electronic skills.
CMMS experience highly desired.
Ammonia training a plus.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Minimum 2 years maintenance experience with knowledge of robotics, automation, PLCs, and electro‑mechanical maintenance.
Regular and prompt attendance required during scheduled hours.
Excellent communication skills, team orientation, strong desire to learn and grow.
Quality and safety minded, reliable, dependable, conscientious, precise, self‑motivated.
Additional duties as directed by supervisor.
Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
