highly experienced Maintenance Technician
with strong technical expertise and a proactive, service-oriented mindset to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who takes pride in preventative maintenance, complex system troubleshooting, and delivering excellent resident service.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain
central plant systems , including
heat pump and HVAC systems
Diagnose and repair HVAC, mechanical, and building system issues with minimal supervision
Perform skilled maintenance and repairs in:
Plumbing
Drywall, patching, and painting
Electrical (basic to intermediate)
Appliances (refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc.)
Coordinate and manage
vendor relationships , including scheduling, oversight, and quality control
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system longevity and efficiency
Respond to service requests and emergencies in a timely, professional manner
Communicate clearly with residents, property managers, and ownership
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company policies
Required Qualifications
Extensive hands‑on maintenance experience
(minimum 5+ years strongly preferred)
Proven experience with
heat pump systems and central plant operations
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
Ability to independently troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Experience working with and managing third‑party vendors
Strong
customer service skills
with a resident‑first approach
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently across multiple properties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Comfortable using maintenance software and mobile technology
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC certification(s)
Boiler or central plant certifications
Experience in multifamily, student housing, or mixed‑use properties
EPA Certification
