Materials & Warehouse Manager I
Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, tool rooms, transportation, vendor, and customer services
Develop and lead staff to exceed defined company and departmental performance metrics.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Ensure staff and process compliance with all contractual and/or prescribed requirements.
Support all internal and external audits and/or surveillance.
Ensure MMAS material management criteria meets or exceeds requirements.
Maintain a minimum of 95% inventory accuracy measurement.
Perform COSA (Control Owner Self Assessment) management
Maintain high level pass rate on all audits or surveillances.
Maintain a 6S workspaces throughout areas of responsibility.
Develop and maintain high level working knowledge of all material management systems.
Provide continuous staff training.
Perform audit on Level 2 and 3 ISO (PAL) procedures annually for validity
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess the logistics team’s performance and implement improvements.
Qualifications
Experience utilizing Power BI
Experience working in a defense, government, material management, or DOD environment
