This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus.
Purpose of Position To support the mission of the campus by providing career services to students and alumni, managing internship programs, and guiding career development initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide career coaching to NCoBPA students to enhance their professional development
Provide one‑on‑one career advising for current undergraduate, graduate and online students and alumni
Help Nistler students set and work towards their professional goals
Teach career development courses
Teach career development courses each semester
Manage Blackboard site and grading
Integrate the Pancratz Center into activities and assignments
Manage experiential learning process
Manage internship process on Handshake for internships/co‑operatives within the NCoBPA collaborating with students, faculty, and employers.
Track internship and employment data
Work with employers to assist with the recruiting process
Partner with faculty and staff in the NCoBPA to promote internships and full‑time positions
Outreach and Engagement
Create and deliver educational workshops for students and other stakeholders on topics related to professional development
Serve as advisor to Business Leadership Club
Conduct tailored presentations in classrooms and at student organization meetings
Present to prospective students and their families and incoming freshmen at college days, orientation, and other events
Represent the Pancratz Center at college, campus, and community events
Coordinate all student‑related aspects of the mentor program
Host cohort meetings and workshops
Communicate regularly with mentees
Manage the course Blackboard site
Manage student application process
Assist the Center Director in managing daily operations of the Center and other duties as assigned and coordinate with other student service offices in the NCoBPA
Help oversee student assistants and interns
Attend select college and community events
Collaborate with other offices in the NCoBPA
Utilize project scheduling software to assign tasks to student employees
Excellent communication and social skills to interact effectively with diverse audiences including faculty, staff, alumni, students, employers, etc.
Experience providing feedback in a productive, positive manner
Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments in a positive manner
Proven experience with effective teamwork and collaboration
Proven experience serving diverse populations
Knowledge of career development principles
Three years of experience with student or employee development
Demonstrate teaching experience (student feedback, conducting training sessions or interactive workshops)
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in higher education, business, public administration, or related field.
Experience with Handshake, Blackboard, Campus Connection or similar programs
Experience delivering virtual presentations
Experience with program development
