Regency Care of Rogue Valley is seeking a compassionate Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing community in Grants Pass, OR.
Charge / Wound Care Nurse Opportunity Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)! Wound Care Certification not required, but preferred.
Role Overview As a charge nurse, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all activities related to resident well‑being.
You Will
Train staff and assist the director of nursing
Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents
Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, assistance or administration of medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per nurse scope of practice and state regulations
You Currently
Possess a current registered nurse license in good standing
Typical candidates have 1 year of providing supervision in healthcare; new grads are encouraged to apply!
