Charge Nurse RN - Weekend Shift
Join Regency Pacific Management as a Charge Nurse RN covering weekend shifts at Regency Olympia, a family‑vibe, 28‑bed skilled nursing facility in Olympia, WA. This is a part‑time position with the opportunity to transition to full time and includes a weekend shift differential.
Responsibilities
Provide weekend supervision and support to the floor nurse and NAC staff to ensure safe, quality resident care.
Assist with care planning; conduct incident investigations, care audits, resident assessment, and collaboration with other care partners.
Assist residents with medication administration, instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), ambient orientation, and other care activities while encouraging self‑care and independence.
Train staff and assist the director of nursing in maintaining high standards of nursing services.
Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety procedures and follow state regulations.
Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation.
Evaluate health emergencies to determine appropriate medical measures within scope of practice and regulations.
Qualifications
Current registered nurse license in good standing.
Typical candidates have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
