Earn Up to $85,500 per year based on Experience, Certifications, and Secondary Languages

About the Role As a clinician at Chrysalis Health, you will provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. While most of the therapy sessions will be conducted in-person, some telehealth options are available for flexibility and convenience. Clients receive services primarily in person within the community, with some telehealth options. There is no requirement to go to an office for administrative tasks or supervision; everything is done online or onsite with the client.

Impactful Client Care Responsibilities

Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients with an array of patient ages and diagnoses

Conduct screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information

Deliver services to clients in the community; no requirement to go to an office

Utilize evidence‑based practices to enhance clinical outcomes of clients

Identify resource requirements necessary to fulfill identified needs

Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, school counselors and other health care professionals to ensure optimal client care

Advocate for patient access to community resources

Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Facilitate and offer individual and family therapy on psycho‑social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support

Demonstrate professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional

Candidate Requirements

Reside within the State of Florida; position requires a Mental Health Registered Intern Licensure

Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field

Organizational and time allocation skills, ability to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs, and flexibility to provide services in client homes, schools, and other community settings

Ability to utilize self‑care techniques to best manage to achieve OPTimal work life balance

Compassionate, engaging, and strong desire to help others

Ability to document therapy services in electronic medical records (EMR) platform

Reviewed candidates who have degrees or majors in the following: Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, Forensic Psychology, Community Counseling, Psychology, Youth Counseling, Human Development, Behavioral Science, Art Therapy, & Psychiatric Rehabilitation

Transcripts must include at least four class codes covering areas such as Human Growth & Development, Diagnosis and Treatment of Psychology, Human Sexuality, Counseling Theories and Techniques, Group Theories and Practice, Dynamics of Marriage and Family Systems, Individual Evaluation and Assessment, Research and Program Evaluation, Personality Theories, Social and Cultural Foundations, Counseling in Community Settings, and Substance Use Disorders
