Plainfield CCSD 202 is seeking a compassionate and skilled
School Social Worker
to support students at Plainfield Academy, our alternative school. The primary focus of this role will be facilitating therapeutic referrals and providing social-emotional support to students in need. Key Responsibilities
Conduct student assessments and develop support plans Coordinate and make therapeutic referrals for students Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs Maintain accurate documentation and reports Support a positive, inclusive school environment for all learners Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement Experience in a school or alternative education setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to supporting diverse student populations Compensation for this position ranges from $26.00 to $65.00.
