Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and bilingual School Social Worker for the 2025‑2026 school year. This full‑time role involves supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs while collaborating with educators, families, and community resources.
Job Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
Support the development and implementation of student IEPs and 504 plans as needed
Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community organizations
Travel between multiple school sites as required
Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work required
Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Support Personnel required
Passing score on the Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS) Social Worker Test (Test 238)
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Previous school‑based experience is a plus
