Base Pay Range $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy; use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
Recommend items for sale to customers, including trade‑up and/or companion items.
Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; perform inventory checks, pricing, and record keeping as directed.
Comply with state and local regulations regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
Support pharmacy, visual, and general store operations, including handling telephone calls and third‑party claim processing when required.
Assist in store maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly appearance.
Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
PTCB certification preferred; ability to obtain it through designated training programs.
Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably Walgreens, is a plus.
