Domino’s Customer Service Representative – Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Take orders over the phone and in person.

Handle customer concerns and resolve issues.

Conduct cash handling and provide accurate change.

Upsell products and promotions.

Prepare high‑quality pizzas according to company standards.

Maintain food and portion control.

Follow hygiene and food safety guidelines.

Perform food preparation and general cleaning duties.

General Job Duties

Operate all store equipment.

Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare products and manage inventory.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Complete inventory paperwork as required.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Communication Skills

Write clear written instructions.

Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers effectively.

Essential Functions / Skills

Perform basic math accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).

Make correct monetary change.

Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Demonstrate motor coordination to quickly and accurately make precise movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying, sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing outdoor tasks.

Temperature ranges from 36°F to 90°F + within store.

Possibility of sudden temperature changes inside/outside.

Fumes from food odors.

Exposure to cornmeal dust.

Working in cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.

Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

Talking and hearing on the telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.

Additional Information

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, manage stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements

Standing:

Most tasks are performed from a standing position.

Walking:

Short distances for short durations.

Lifting:

Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 lb.) are unloaded using a hand truck; items may be stacked up to 72 ft. high.

Carrying:

Large cans (≈3 lb.), pizza sauce (≈30 lb.), and trays of dough (≈12 lb.) are carried from the workstation to storage.

Pushing:

Moving trays on dollies requires a force of up to 7.5 lb.; trays may also be pulled.

Climbing:

Occasional stairs or ladder use for maintenance tasks.

Stooping/Bending:

Forward bending at the pizza assembly station and front counter; approximately 30‑45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously.

Crouching/Squatting:

Occasionally for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.

Reaching:

Continuous reaching both up, down, and forward.

Hand Tasks:

Eye‑hand coordination required; use both hands frequently; forearm and wrist use in dough shaping.
