This role offers a base pay range of $22.00/hr to $23.00/hr.
About The Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Technician to join a collaborative team. In this role, you’ll help ensure prescriptions are prepared accurately and efficiently, supporting pharmacists and other team members in delivering exceptional care.
What You’ll Do
Pick, label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
Fill daily drug orders accurately and on time.
Assist with processing returned medications and recycling/disposal per procedure.
Pre-pack frequently ordered medications during low-volume times.
Pull medications from shelves and storage areas.
Apply labels to blister cards and scan for accuracy.
Alert pharmacists about any scanning issues.
Maintain workstation and replenish stock supplies.
Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulations.
Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule & Work Expectation
Weekends & Holidays: Every other weekend and some holidays.
Overtime: Not required but may be needed occasionally.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Moderate work speed and attention to detail.
Active MD Pharmacy Technician License (issued by MD Board of Pharmacy).
Preferred
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting (retail or long-term care).
Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the day.
May work extended hours as needed.
Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Visual acuity for reading fine print.
