Job Title: Pharmaceutical Technician (3rd Shift)

Job Overview Seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join a collaborative team in a high-volume pharmacy environment. This is a third-shift role with responsibilities focused on prescription preparation and fulfillment. Candidates must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy and comfortable working overnight hours.
Responsibilities
Pick, label, scan, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification
Accurately fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision
Process returned medications and manage disposal per protocol
Prepack frequently ordered medications during low-volume periods
Apply labels to blister cards and scan for accuracy
Alert pharmacists to scanning issues or discrepancies
Maintain workstation cleanliness and stock supplies
Follow HIPAA and other applicable regulations
Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Active and clear Maryland Pharmacy Technician license
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Moderate-speed work capability
Previous pharmacy technician experience (retail or long-term care preferred)
Preferred
Experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings
Schedule & Work Conditions
Third shift: 8-hour shifts starting between 9 PM–10 PM
Rotating schedule includes every other weekend
Option for 4-day, 10-hour shifts if needed
Occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required
Physical demands include standing/sitting for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and visual acuity for detailed tasks
