divh2Production Assistant/h2pThis is a 3-6 month temporary position to support our Production team at our Solana Beach Office. The Production Assistant will assist the NAC West Production team with production activities, ensuring contract requirements, product specifications, and deadlines are met. Essential Functions:/pulliAssist with production and capacity planning in a low volume high mix environment, kitting from pick list and full execution of SOP results/liliAssists with receiving inspections to validates the quality of purchased raw materials based on set acceptance criteria/liliAssist with monitoring, tracking, and moving parts as required through the company to ensure timely delivery to next production location./liliCoordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery./liliAssist with maintaining reports to highlight needs, deliverables and constraints as required for internal and customer use./liliAssists with setting and overseeing work assignments, schedules, and work quality of the manufacturing team./liliCoordinates work with and of appropriate department staff so that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner./liliAssist with identifying, acquiring, and ensuring the availability of materials and supplies./liliAssist and Coordinates hardware testing with quality assurance staff./liliIdentifies requirements for packaging and shipping./liliPerforms other related duties as assigned./liliRegular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule]./liliResponsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices./liliEmbodies AEVEXs cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture./li/ulpQualifications and Competencies:/pulliSecurity Clearance-Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required./liliFamiliarity with FAR part 12 and FAR part 15 government procurement desired/liliStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines./liliProficient with Microsoft Suite or similar software./liliFamiliarity with International and Domestic shipping services, including FedEx and UPS, and hazardous material shipping requirements (i.e. LI Batteries) preferred./liliFamiliarity with Bills of Material preferred/liliExperience with Cycle Counting preferred/liliFamiliarity with ERP system preferred/liliFamiliarity of cGMP preferred/li/ulpEducation / Certifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required./liliAssociates or Bachelors degree Business Administration, Production Management, or a related field./li/ulpExperience:/pulli0-2+ years of experience in related disciplines including design drafting, production planning, or assembly work, required./liliExperience in Aerospace and Defense industry a plus/liliStockroom/Inventory Control experience preferred/liliKanBan experience preferred/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
