About the Role: Join a high-performance team leading the transformation of our Skokie manufacturing facility. In this role, you will drive critical improvement projects that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and overall operational efficiency. You’ll play a key part in developing and executing a five-year manufacturing excellence roadmap — incorporating advanced manufacturing technologies, lean concepts, and process optimization strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead manufacturing improvement projects from concept through execution
- Build project scopes, timelines, milestones, and ROI models
- Manage capital equipment planning, budgeting, and vendor engagement
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and complexity
- Research new technologies and propose innovative solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
- Communicate project progress to leadership and stakeholders
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field
- 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Hands-on experience with lean tools and continuous improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Passion for innovation, advanced manufacturing, and process optimization
