The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) is searching for a full‑time faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate or Full Professor, Non‑Tenure Track.
The position will involve staffing pre‑doctoral and resident clinics, participating in didactic teaching, and serving in the intramural faculty practice, including on‑call activity at the teaching hospital.
Responsibilities
Staff pre‑doctoral and resident clinics.
Participate in didactic teaching and curriculum development.
Engage in clinical practice within the intramural faculty program, including on‑call duties.
Collaborate with colleagues in academic and clinical research activities.
Qualifications
Dental degree (DMD or DDS) and surgical training from a CODA‑approved residency program.
ABOMS eligibility or certification.
Licensed to practice dentistry in New Jersey.
Strong clinical, teaching, and scholarly experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional advanced degrees or training in dental or medical surgery.
Experience in a large academic medical center.
Prior experience with MSU or clinical mentorship.
Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities
Proficiency in oral‑maxillofacial surgical procedures.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Adaptability to a fast‑moving clinical environment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods; performing procedures that require precision and hand‑eye coordination.
Compensation and Benefits Salary: Minimum $100,000, with potential adjustments based on experience and department availability. Benefits include:
