CHWB Front Desk Asst/PSR
Posting Summary Responsible for scheduling appointments and providing information to students, staff, and the public on the telephone and in person in a professional, respectful manner; check in/check out clients, determine needs of students by communicating with the Office Manager, Counselors, Psychiatrists and Case Manager. Utilize electronic health record system for scheduling and communicating with clients and providers. Work with client charts when necessary. Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards, and maintain a high level of discretion. Responsible for promoting a safe Center for Health and Wellbeing for students and staff of all races, ethnicity, religions, national origins, gender sexual orientations, disabilities and ages. Responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the CHWB, Division of Student and Campus Life and the University of Vermont.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Associate's degree in a specific or related field. Two years of administrative office support experience preferred. Experience with electronic health records preferred. Ability to organize work priorities, plan, and adhere to structured regulations. Ability to communicate interpersonally and sensitively with human concerns. Ability to adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards, maintaining a high level of discretion. Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
