Job Overview Secure Restoration is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the planning and financial success of restoration and reconstruction projects by preparing accurate estimates and scopes of work. Whether it's a residential rebuild after water damage or a commercial repair following fire or storm impact, your expertise in pricing, project analysis, and proposal preparation will be critical.

This position is ideal for someone who knows construction inside and out, understands the restoration industry, and enjoys solving problems through detailed, accurate planning.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and timely estimates for residential and commercial restoration projects

Develop scopes of work using Xactimate or similar estimating software

Conduct site inspections to gather project details and assess damages

Collaborate with project managers, adjusters, clients, and field teams

Assist with pricing for materials, labor, and equipment

Review and interpret architectural drawings, engineering reports, and specifications

Communicate clearly with clients and insurance representatives regarding the estimate process

Revise estimates and address supplement requests as needed

Maintain organized records and documentation within the job management system

Ensure estimates align with company profitability targets and client expectations

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating, restoration estimating preferred

Strong understanding of residential and light commercial construction methods and materials

Proficiency with Xactimate required (Level II Certification preferred)

Ability to read blueprints, plans, and insurance scopes

Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy under tight timelines

Experience working with insurance adjusters or within the insurance restoration industry is a plus

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Schedule Full-time

Monday–Friday

Occasional overtime or weekend availability based on project needs
