How You’ll Contribute As a Policy Administration Business Analyst I, you will play a key role in supporting and improving policy administration processes and systems. You will collaborate closely with Policy Administration teams and Information Technology partners to analyze workflows, support system enhancements, and help implement solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

What You’ll Do
Partner with Policy Administration and Information Technology teams to analyze, design, and implement system and process enhancements
Review and streamline procedures to support departmental and organizational goals
Design, document, and update administrative workflows, ensuring alignment with business process management systems
Support testing activities by defining functional requirements, executing test cases, and reviewing results
Create and maintain clear documentation for system enhancements, workflows, and interdepartmental procedures
Participate in prioritization and planning activities using Agile/SCRUM methodologies
Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and best practices through training and learning opportunities
Contribute positively to team culture by collaborating, sharing ideas, and supporting colleagues as needed
What You’ll Bring Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
Experience analyzing business processes, workflows, or system requirements
Experience supporting testing, documentation, or system enhancements is preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Comfort managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary systems
Experience gathering requirements, conducting testing, and supporting change initiatives
Commitment to customer service and alignment with EquiTrust’s core values, including integrity, teamwork, accountability, and respect
Physical Requirements
Primarily sedentary work involving sitting, computer use, and verbal communication
Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
Ability to use hands for fine manipulation and computer-based tasks
