About Alpha Do you believe every child should read at or above grade level, yet find yourself frustrated by inefficient systems that squander their promise?
Alpha School is demonstrating that literacy transformation doesn't demand 6‑hour school days. Our 2‑Hour Learning framework combines AI‑adaptive platforms with targeted instruction to accelerate reading progress.
Your role: create and execute workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support nationwide expansion of that curriculum.
This role is not about administrative lesson planning. It centers on data‑informed teaching, collaboration with technology teams, and constructing a reading system that serves thousands of students.
Lead instruction. Embrace growth. Apply today.
What You Will Be Doing
Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on phonics, comprehension, and fluency development
Creating personalized motivational experiences through gamified literacy benchmarks
Reviewing student performance data to adjust instruction and identify actionable trends
Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes
Building scalable, AI‑integrated curriculum that supports early elementary students in reaching grade‑level reading proficiency
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience facilitating small‑group reading interventions for early elementary students
Capable of assessing reading proficiency, organizing students into groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre‑written curricula
Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student engagement patterns within those tools
Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
