gpac is working with a leading food manufacturing that is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Supervisor
to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations on 1st shift at one of their facilities in
Southern Indiana,
they will relocate. This role is perfect for a hands‑on leader with strong technical skills and a background in food or protein manufacturing.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and schedule maintenance technicians on 1st shift
Ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues
Maintain compliance with food safety, OSHA, and GMP standards
Partner with production leadership to support efficient plant operations
Coordinate work orders, spare parts, and contractor activities
Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance and maintenance processes
What We're Looking For
3-5+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing (protein experience a plus)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background
Knowledge of PLCs, packaging equipment, conveyors, mixers, and processing systems
Solid understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards
Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills
