Job Details Permanent Maintenance Mechanic. Over 5 years of experience required. The role focuses on pumps, machine maintenance, pneumatics, motors, and repair.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.

Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them in a timely manner.

Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.

Understand and implement complex machinery operations, including pneumatics and motors.

Maintain detailed records of performed work, repairs, and parts used.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Collaborate with other staff members to optimize performance and output.

Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.

Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role in the engineering industry.

Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance technology, pneumatics, motors, and repair.

Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with machinery and equipment.

Exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work in confined spaces.

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports, order parts, and maintain records.

Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required.
