What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Review scheduled services for patients and select appropriate CPT codes
Analyze insurance information in EPIC to determine patient payment responsibilities
Create and verify patient estimates, ensuring accurate communication via text/email
Transfer patient charts to Pre-Registration for insurance verification prior to appointments
Handle customer service inquiries related to the estimate process and patient billing
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent with 1 year of healthcare revenue cycle experience, or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in data entry, charge entry, and medical office or hospital billing
Ability to sit continuously and work on a computer for an 8-hour day
