Position Overview As part of the Precision Engagement Systems (PES) team, you will act as a key process facilitator and data analytics expert supporting engineering workforce staffing, resource planning, and other critical engineering functions.
While the role does not require an engineering degree or technical engineering experience, it requires strong facilitation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Position Responsibilities
Facilitate workforce staffing, resource planning, and other engineering support processes in collaboration with engineering leaders and cross‑functional partners (Government Operations, Legal, HR, Finance).
Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of project and program plans and schedules related to staffing and engineering execution.
Conduct risk assessments, trend analyses, and variance analyses to identify staffing risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
Develop, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics aligned with organizational goals.
Use data analytics and automation tools to collect, analyze, and streamline complex data sets supporting engineering lifecycle products and services.
Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate workforce and program status to senior leadership.
Facilitate cross‑functional meetings, technical reviews, and large‑scale events to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Drive process improvements and change management initiatives to enhance staffing efficiency and program execution.
Lead implementation and adoption of data analytics platforms to improve engineering decision‑making and workforce planning.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to gain support and ensure successful execution of staffing and program processes.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post‑Start is required.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
5+ years of experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proven experience facilitating workforce staffing or other resource planning processes within technical or engineering organizations.
Strong data analysis and automation skills, with demonstrated ability to collect, interpret, and streamline complex data sets.
Experience developing and tracking key performance metrics and KPIs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for creating dashboards, visualizations, and reports that support data‑driven decision‑making.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, engineering leadership, and cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting technology development or engineering programs.
Experience with Tableau or other advanced data visualization platforms to create interactive dashboards and enhance stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with data automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) to improve data processing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Experience supporting staffing acquisition, deployment of skills, or workforce planning in a technical environment.
Strong process improvement mindset with experience leading change management initiatives.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable working with all levels of users and presenting to senior/executive leadership.
Experience in financial analysis and budgeting to support project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation within complex programs.
Positive, calm, and can‑do attitude, even in stressful situations.
Shift & Location Location: Saint Charles, MO or Saint Louis, MO (candidate must reside in the local area or relocate at own expense). Shift: 1st Shift.
Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $113,500.00 – $152,950.00 (Level 4). Additional variable compensation opportunities are available. Benefits include health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time away from work.
