The Role The Associate Buyer will support purchasing, vendor management, and demand planning across multiple supplier relationships. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills who wants to grow within a supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day relationships with assigned packaging or materials vendors.
Place and track purchase orders; ensure
on‑time, in‑full (OTIF)
delivery performance.
Partner with demand planning and logistics teams to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Analyze purchasing data to identify
cost‑saving
and
process‑improvement
opportunities.
Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, DemandCaster highly preferred).
Support product launches through early demand forecasting and supplier coordination.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience
in purchasing, procurement, or inventory planning (manufacturing or CPG preferred).
Proficiency with
ERP and demand‑planning systems
— NetSuite experience a plus.
Strong Excel and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and vendor relationship skills.
Must be local to the Atlanta metro area
— this is an
on‑site role (not remote or hybrid) .
Strong alignment with sustainability and continuous‑improvement values.
