Job Description Reports directly to Engineering Manager or Production Supervisor. Performs routine set up, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities include production, quality, downtime, and waste levels of machine operation. Performs mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance (including preventive) repairs, adjustments, inspection, and monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipment and machinery. Uses judgment and consultation to analyze, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and machinery. Must project a positive attitude with good team skills. Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements. Uses judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot, and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks. Responsibilities

Time management skills required to ensure all tasks are completed without delay. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to work with various teams. Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills; must analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment and machinery. Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment specifications. Flexible and adaptable in working with/on a variety of equipment, processes, projects or assignments. Understanding and use of trade mathematics, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments essential. Constant mental and visual attention performing moderately complex work requiring close limits of accuracy and tolerances. Must be Knowledgeable in the Following Areas

Use of a PC including MS Excel & MS Word. Efficient in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components. Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings. Demonstrate hydraulics, pneumatics aptitude. Ability to use multimeter. Sensor technology. Basic plumbing (fluid and pneumatic). Power transmission (gearbox, motors, belt and chain drives). Electrical troubleshooting of circuits from low level signals up to 480 VAC. Additional Experience Preferred

Troubleshooting of Industrial Control Systems (instrumentation, ladder logic, relay logic, VFD, servo, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of PLC operations, robotics, and vision systems. Mechanical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) SAP maintenance module or equivalent computerized system (welding). Basic skills in use of mill, lathe, welding, bearing press. Seniority Level
