Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in our food manufacturing facility in
Grabill, IN . The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, along with experience working with PLCs and automated systems. This position offers weekly pay and steady, long-term work in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshooting, and repair production and extrusion equipment
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and keep machines running efficiently
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and control systems (Fanuc robot experience a plus)
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability
Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
Follow all safety procedures and support company safety standards
Work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with PLCs and automated systems preferred
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Welding, fabrication, plumbing, and machining experience a plus
Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
