Location: Milwaukee, WI
Wage:
$16.50 per hour + $2.00 per hour weekend shift differential (for any time worked on weekends, from 5pm Friday to 8am Monday)
Position requires valid driver's license.

What You Get To Do Working directly as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver, you will assist in a residential group home by helping people with disabilities achieve a variety of outcomes, including personal care and community integration.
Support and mentorship with daily activities to ensure health and safety (e.g., assisting with meals, cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and facilitating fun activities).
Hands‑on mentoring to promote greater independence.
Positive direction to encourage achievement of personal goals.
Provide medication administration and monitor medical well‑being.
No experience? If you meet the basic job requirements, we will provide paid training and hands‑on experience.
Behavioral DSP role: This role requires experience with intense high‑behaviors. We seek candidates who are patient, possess good decision‑making and crisis‑management skills, and who will not be intimidated by these behaviors. Prior IDD, mental health, psychiatric, or security experience is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
Excitement for working with adults with disabilities.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Successful background clearance required as part of onboarding.
Good communication skills for documentation, support plan follow‑up, and collaboration.
A valid driver's license is required.
Comfortable driving company vehicles for transport; some positions may require personal vehicle with liability insurance.
Nice to Have:
Experience with adults with mental health issues, disabilities, or related experience.
Certifications & trainings (CBRF, CNA, CPR, etc.) appreciated but not required.
