Overview
Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Nurse Practitioner role at Easley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC). You’ll provide advanced nursing care, conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team guided by the Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor to optimize patient outcomes and maintain high standards of care. This role is for individuals passionate about behavioral health and substance use treatment.
Responsibilities
Provide initial and annual history and physical evaluations, assess eligibility for treatment, and evaluate patients’ history of opioid dependence.
Order appropriate laboratory studies, review results, educate patients, and coordinate referrals or follow-up services as needed.
Monitor treatment plans for high‑risk patients.
Prescribe medication for the treatment of substance use disorders as allowed by state regulation.
Consult and collaborate with the Medical Director to plan and implement care according to NP guidelines.
Report and document significant patient issues and adverse events; communicate pertinent information to health care team members.
Collaborate with Nurse Supervisor to optimize quality and efficiency; ensure program and employee activities comply with laws and clinic policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner preferred.
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings (outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities) preferred.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment.

Location: Easley Comprehensive Treatment Center, 1653 E Main Street, Easley, SC 29640
Full‑time Schedule: Mon–Fri, 5:30 am – 12:00 pm
Compensation Range: $60–$64 per hour, depending on experience
