Job Description We are seeking a personable and experienced Restaurant Server with a background in hotel settings to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them efficiently into our system
Provide detailed menu information, offering recommendations and answering questions regarding dietary restrictions and preferences
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
Monitor and attend to guests’ needs, promptly addressing any issues to ensure satisfaction
Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently, following hotel protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area according to health and safety standards
Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service as needed
Support team members in various tasks to assure great service and an efficient operation
Qualifications
Previous experience as a server, preferably in a hotel or upscale dining environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and basic math skills for handling transactions
A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to guest satisfaction
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays as needed for the duration of the shift
