Responsibilities
Perform registration and obtain information about demographics, insurance, medical and financial details.
Cross‑train to staff all areas of patient access, such as front desk, admitting office, ED and cash register.
Serve as a Super User and act as a resource for training new caregivers.
Provide registration and cash collection access in Epic.
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, includes rotating weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED with two years of customer‑facing experience in person or on the phone OR an Associate’s Degree with one year of experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree.
Knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to understand physician orders OR completion of a course within one year.
Basic PC software application knowledge and ability to use multiple data systems.
Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $15.75 Maximum hourly: $21.65
