Origin Travel Nurses
The Labor and Delivery Nurse works in the Maternal Infant Unit, providing exceptional care to patients during labor, delivering babies, and assisting with postpartum care. The nurse will also provide care for newborns and antepartum patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct vaginal deliveries and assist with C-sections. Provide antepartum care and support to expectant mothers. Manage post-partum care with patient ratios of 5-6:1. Care for newborns with a ratio of 5-6:1. Utilize GE fetal monitors and maintain records in the Meditech EMR system. Collaborate with other unit staff including nurses, OB techs, and secretaries. Participate in on-call rotations, typically every third weekend. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of labor experience. Preferred experience in high birth volume LDRP settings. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification. Why ARMStaffing?
