Overview
Part‑time Respiratory Therapist (.22TE) on‑call at CMHIP, Colorado. Requires Colorado residency. Responsibilities Administer respiratory care modalities and EEGs for acute and chronically ill patients. Assess therapy effectiveness and record patient data. Provide 24‑hour response when on call and shift work as needed. Coordinate with nursing and staff to align continuum of care and promote respiratory therapy outcomes. Recommend equipment and services based on clinical judgment and department input. Respond to cardiopulmonary arrests during on‑duty or on‑call duties. Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution. Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in Colorado. One year of professional experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of mental illness. At least two years of professional experience in clinical respiratory care. Ability to be onsite within 20 minutes of notification. Conditions of Employment
State of Colorado residency required at application and throughout employment. Pre‑employment physical examination. On‑call eligible. Exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases. Must pass a tuberculosis test. Background check required; criminal record obligations apply. EEO Statement
