New Season Treatment Centers are an outpatient health care provider offering medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Job Summary The Area Clinical Supervisor provides oversight of the clinical staff and clinical compliance for assigned centers. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary treatment team (Medical Director, Program Director, Nurses, Counselors) to identify and meet clinical needs and support patient well-being. Provides clinical supervision, audits patient records, and trains counselors as needed.

Essential Functions

Ensure compliance with Local, State, Federal and company rules and regulations within the clinic budget.

Keep leadership informed of significant treatment events and make prudent recommendations.

Guide completion of intake, admission, discharge and aftercare paperwork by patients and staff.

Maintain accurate patient clinical charts to meet compliance and regulatory requirements; address deficiencies through training or disciplinary actions as needed.

Assist with achieving and maintaining accreditation status.

Help clinics maintain appropriate staffing patterns per policy by reporting recommendations to leadership.

Provide clinical supervision hours to counselors seeking certification/licensure, per formalized process.

Provide feedback to address staff work performance issues when necessary.

Oversee clinical supervision and provide direct supervision/training to supervisors and coordinators to enhance the clinical team.

Travel to multiple locations to provide face-to-face supervision based on credentialing and oversight needs.

Report patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.

Ensure understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual and compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA.

Maintain licensure/certification according to state requirements.

Conduct clinical trainings relevant to counseling services.

Act in the best interests of the program and protect proprietary data.

Perform other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.

Supervisory Responsibilities Provides clinical oversight and supervision for Treatment Services Supervisors, Treatment Team Coordinators, and Counselors within the assigned region, in compliance with state regulations and standards.

Education/Licensure/Certification Master’s Degree in a related field and licensure and/or state certification or the international IC&RC equivalent.

Required Knowledge Knowledge of methadone, general clinical supervision and counseling practices, Federal Confidentiality Law, HIPAA, and ethics. Computer literacy and basic knowledge of Microsoft products.

Experience Required Minimum of five (5) years.

Skill and Ability Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable.
