Healthy Capital District (HCD) is a non‑profit organization dedicated to improving public health and ensuring better healthcare access for underserved children and adults in New York's Capital Region since 1998. With regional funding from New York State, HCD provides insurance navigation and enrollment services to over 11,000 individuals annually while screening for social determinants of health and offering necessary referral services. HCD supports community wellness through initiatives like the Seal a Smile Program, which provides free oral preventive care to over 4,000 students each year. Additionally, HCD conducts regional health planning, including the Community Health Needs Assessments, and operates a Certified Peer Development Program for substance use disorder support. Role Description This is an on-site full-time Executive Assistant role located in Albany, NY. The Executive Assistant will provide administrative and executive support to organizational leadership, including managing schedules, preparing expense reports, and coordinating meetings. Key responsibilities include handling executive communication, organizing documentation, managing correspondence, and assisting with daily operations. Providing exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities will be crucial in maintaining efficiency and supporting the goals of the organization.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Executive Administrative Assistance, including calendar management and task prioritization
Experience in preparing and managing Expense Reports and maintaining accurate records
Proficiency in Executive Support and Administrative Assistance with the ability to manage various office systems
Excellent Communication skills for liaising with internal teams, external stakeholders, and leadership
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with common office software and tools
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Relevant professional certifications or training in administrative or executive support are a plus
