Work hours are Monday‑Friday from 8am‑4:30pm.

The Specialty Surgery Scheduling is accountable for scheduling various complex surgical and medical procedures by obtaining appropriate surgical procedure, specialized equipment, and other specialized resources, implants and current/historical medical information (i.e., ICD10 Coding, Medical History, including allergies and Patient Demographic Profile). Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and enterprise scheduling protocols.

Required Qualifications

Intermediate Medical Terminology and Physical Anatomy coursework, or equivalent education/experience.

At least 3 years of medical office or hospital experience in the surgery field.

Demonstrated outstanding customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Business or college courses.

1 or more years of medical scheduling experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities may also be available.
