Opening : Maintenance Mechanic (UNION ROLE)
City : Tacoma, WA
WHO THEY ARE We began by primarily serving local cemeteries with concrete vaults, marker bases, and related products. In 1980, our third‑generation owner expanded into landscape and architectural precast, and that division has continued to grow ever since. Today, we offer a wide range of products‑from planters, picnic tables, curbs, and benches to architectural pieces such as stairs, landings, caps, sills, countertops, and even custom artistic renderings. WHAT YOU’LL DO You’ll be responsible for keeping all production equipment and machinery in safe, working order. This includes performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and repairing or replacing parts on mixers, conveyors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment used in the manufacturing process. You’ll also help with preventative maintenance schedules, ensure tools and systems are operating efficiently, and respond quickly to minimize downtime so production stays on track.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
Competitive Salary: $80,000-95,000 to start
Monday-Friday schedule; 6:00 AM-2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
Applicants should have hands‑on experience repairing and maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment.
Background in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting is highly valuable, along with skills in welding and fabrication.
The safe use of hand and power tools.
Experience working in an industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environment is preferred.
Strong problem‑solving skills.
Attention to safety.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure are also key for this role.
