Accounting Clerk - Law Firm Location : Phoenix, AZ Pay : $29-$31 per hour Schedule : Full-time | Onsite Experience : 1-2 years law firm accounting required About the Role

A reputable Phoenix law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Collections . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with law firm experience who is ready to grow in a fast-paced, professional environment. Key Responsibilities

Process Accounts Payable : invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment runs Manage Accounts Receivable : posting payments, tracking outstanding balances, and reconciling accounts Handle client billing , including time entries, prebills, adjustments, and final invoice preparation Conduct collections outreach , communicate professionally with clients, and follow up on overdue accounts Perform daily cash posting and reconciliation Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end processes Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions Qualifications

1-2 years of accounting experience in a law firm (required) Solid understanding of AP, AR, billing, and collections Strong attention to detail and accuracy Professional communication skills with a client-service mindset Experience with law firm billing software is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems Pay Details : $29.00 to $31.00 per hour Search managed by : Desiree Salazar Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
