Senior Litigation Attorney — Roseville (Onsite)
Knight Law Group is expanding and looking for a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team in Roseville. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring substantial courtroom and litigation experience, strategic insight, and a leadership mindset. The Role This role is designed for an attorney with 8–10+ years of litigation experience, capable of managing a complex caseload independently while also mentoring junior attorneys and collaborating with senior leadership on firm strategy. The right candidate will possess excellent writing, argumentation, and case development skills, with a strong grasp of trial preparation and motion practice.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all phases of litigation, from case intake through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial prep
Conduct legal research, draft and edit pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings
Evaluate case strengths and weaknesses to develop and refine litigation strategy
Lead witness interviews, depositions, and client communication
Collaborate with and supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff
Review and edit written work product from attorneys and non-attorney team members
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
Manage multiple active matters with competing priorities
Work closely with managing partners to support firm initiatives and case development
Requirements & Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Member in good standing with the California State Bar
8–10+ years of litigation experience in California, preferably with consumer or plaintiff-side litigation exposure
Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation independently
Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions
Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
Experience supervising support staff and delegating tasks effectively
Fluent or conversational Spanish is a plus, but not required
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, in-office environment
Proficiency in MS Office, case management software, and digital workflow tools
Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite role based in our Roseville office. Office environment is professional, fast-paced, and team-oriented. Travel within California may occasionally be required for court appearances or depositions.
