Description Technicians need to be available to help pull cable and terminate keystone-style jacks at a large construction site.
Responsibilities
Pulling, terminating and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables.
Installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc).
Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms.
Review all job documentation for assigned projects, including floor plans, equipment locations, reflected ceiling plans, conduit call-outs, wall elevations, signal flow diagrams, and cable pull schedules.
This job will require the employee to regularly stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, and type on a keyboard; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of power tools will be required to effectively perform this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have PPE before starting: Hard hat with chin strips, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, vest. Looking for techs with positive attitudes and great communication skills.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $20.00 – $21.00/hr.
