Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Senior Phlebotomist in Irving, Texas! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type:
Four-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Pay:
$23.50 to $27.50 an hour
Responsibilities of the Senior Phlebotomist:
Performing venipuncture and specimen collection.
Expected to collect blood from patients using both venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Process and prepare specimens for testing and transport, troubleshoot any issues related to specimen collection, and provide proper patient instructions for various collection methods, such as urine collection.
Responsible for instructing patients on post-phlebotomy care, properly disposing of hazardous and sharp, and obtaining specimens for microbiology testing.
Qualifications for the Senior Phlebotomist:
High School Graduate or GED
Two plus years of phlebotomy experience
Phlebotomy certification required
