Executive Analyst
Under the direction and close oversight of the Administration Unit Staff Services Manager I, and in consultation with the Chief of Staff as needed, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) provides analytical, technical, and administrative support to the EEOP Assistant Director and executive leadership. The incumbent assists with coordinating the Director’s Office Tracking System (DOTS), scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and general program support activities.
The SSA performs administrative functions that support Program operations, including assisting with telework coordination, training tracking, recognition activities, records and forms management, out-of-state travel (OST) documentation, CPRA request routing, and legislative assignment tracking. The incumbent monitors assigned tasks, follows up on action items as directed, and helps maintain internal procedures developed by the Administration Unit.
This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Familiarity with EEOP-related laws, regulations, and departmental policies is helpful and will be developed under supervisory guidance.
Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Staff Services Analyst exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions. Provide an example of when you had several tasks or deadlines at once. How did you stay organized and ensure everything was completed on time?
Why is equity in the workplace important?
Failure to include and complete the SOQ may result in disqualification for interview. #J-18808-Ljbffr
