Summary of Job Duties The Appointment Business Center Scheduler (Access Coordinator) answers telephones and coordinates appointments in a call center environment. The Appointment Business Center Scheduler plays a crucial role in our organization by supporting patient care activities. Responsibilities
Schedules, reschedules, coordinates, and cancels appointments
Inputs and/or updates accurate patient information
Communicates accurate and complete information
Must maintain strict confidentiality
Performs other duties as assigned
This position is in a call center and remote work is not an option.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Basic proficiency with computers (preferably MS Office)
Excellent telephone etiquette skills
General knowledge of office machines including printers and scanners
Preferred Qualifications
Call center experience
Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling in a healthcare environment
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Experience Requirements: Level I: One (1) year of customer service experience. Level II: Two (2) years of customer service experience.
Salary Information Level I: $15.00/hr ($31,200 yr)
Level II: $15.26/hr ($31,740.80 yr)
