Role Summary
A Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing helpful, timely, and professional support to customers. The role focuses on answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience across phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person
Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and respectfully
Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies
Process orders, returns, exchanges, or account updates
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when needed
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions
Follow company procedures and service standards
Contribute to customer satisfaction and retention goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Active listening and problem-solving abilities
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to handle difficult situations calmly
Basic computer skills and familiarity with customer service software
Good time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service or retail experience
Experience working with ERP systems, Prophet 21 preferred
