Responsibilities
Teach 3-14 contact hours each semester
Provide required skills assistance to students
Assist in developing internship sites and articulation agreements with other colleges for the Justice Studies program
Serve on campus committees and participate in campus events
Ensure instructional success and model lifelong learning through continuous professional development
Complete and maintain a teaching portfolio
Teach day, evening, and/or weekend class at any of our area campuses
Job Requirements
Graduate degree in Criminal Justice or J.D. required
Substantive employment experience in the field desired, particularly in criminal investigation
Successful teaching experience and excellent classroom skills as reflected in classroom observations, student evaluations, course documentation, etc.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success
Commitment to continuous curriculum enhancement and application of best practices
Strong team player
Demonstrated ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment
