Senior Project Manager | Multifamily & Commercial Construction – Boise, ID

A well‑established general contractor is seeking a
Senior Construction Project Manager
with California building experience, to relocate to Idaho and oversee large‑scale commercial and multifamily construction projects in the Boise area. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of construction operations—from budgeting and scheduling to client communication and team supervision.
Will be required to travel to CA a few times a month to oversee current projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide full project leadership from preconstruction through close‑out
Oversee cost, schedule, quality, safety, and project status across multiple jobs
Negotiate subcontracts and major purchase orders; manage change orders and RFIs
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, partners, consultants, and regulatory agencies
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction methods
Ensure project profitability and mitigate risk through proactive management
Lead internal teams and mentor project staff, fostering a high‑performance culture
Implement reporting procedures and ensure contract compliance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
5–10+ years of experience managing commercial or multifamily construction projects
Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Procore, and other PM tools
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
Strong grasp of construction documents, change management, and dispute resolution
Preferred Experience:
Ground‑up multifamily or mixed‑use experience>
Familiarity with project management systems and field reporting tools
