Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I in the Statewide Procurement Training Unit of the Statewide Procurement Oversight and Consulting (SPOC) branch, this position performs complex analytical work, manages and plans projects by leveraging previous procurement experience as a buyer to support the unit mission to shape the future of state procurement by designing and delivering training that builds the skills and knowledge of buyers across California, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of statewide procurement practices. The position collaborates with customers at all levels with the department and externally, as it relates to the application and understanding of all IT goods and services and Non‑IT goods statewide procurement policy and procedures, to support all necessary training and development activities.
