Responsibilities Under the direction of the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) Staff Services Manager (SSM), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) coordinates the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education’s activities associated with student protection and outreach efforts and activities associated with student reimbursement from the STRF mandates stipulated in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 and the Bureau regulations.
Minimum Requirements
ANALYST II classification, salary range $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 (Minimum salary for new to state candidates).
Eligibility: applications from current classification, lateral transfer, reinstatement, list or LEAP eligibility, SROA and/or Surplus (priority), Training and Development assignment eligible.
Perform duties with inclusive, respectful approach, comply with diversity and equity policy.
Desirable Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication, Microsoft Office proficiency.
Experience with data analysis, drafting reports, customer service, handling competing priorities.
Ability to build cooperative relationships, interpret policies, manage workload, exercise good judgment.
