Duties & Responsibilities
Implement selected components of patient interventions, obtain data related to interventions, and make modifications to progress the patient or ensure safety and comfort.
Provide quality physical therapy services, including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient’s physical therapist.
Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist’s prescribed treatment course.
Communicate the patient’s treatment progression, changes, and recommended medical follow‑up to team members as appropriate.
Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment issues, goals, safety risks, and other scope‑of‑practice matters.
Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
AA or higher degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited institution.
Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License.
Current CPR certification.
