Responsibilities
Implement selected components of patient interventions, obtain data related to interventions, and make modifications to progress the patient or ensure safety.
Provide quality physical therapy services including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient’s physical therapist.
Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist’s prescribed course of treatment.
Communicate patient’s treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended follow‑up to team members.
Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment, goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practice.
Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License.
Current CPR certification.
